Lots and Lots of Stuff

This picture is of my beautiful sister-in-law and my three beautiful kids!

Things are the same here...just a million things happening at once. :)

My grandma is in the hospital, even now as I type, recovering from reconstructive surgery for her breast, which she had removed last year after being diagnosed with breast cancer. I went to see her last night and she was sitting in her chair moving around...not at all resembling a 75 year old woman who just had surgery! Amazing. She has a little fever right now, but it is low grade so they hope it's nothing and she'll be able to go home today or tomorrow. We'll see how she's feeling.

My sister is very pregnito with my niece and nephew!!! She looks beautiful and the babies are doing great, kicking up a storm. I love that. I can't wait for them to move up here!!!!

My mom is not feeling well; she was in the emergency room yesterday while my grandma was in surgery because she had (has) a terrible pain in her abdomen as well as other symptoms. They gave her some medication and sent her home, but she is not better yet.

My husband took his first sick day in his entire life yesterday! He was just feeling punk and with everything that's been going on lately he needed some rest. He's feeling much better today.

Gavin had his last day of summer school yesterday and seems to have really enjoyed it. They sent home his report and said he "was an enjoyable student to have in class. He enjoyed doing puzzles, play dough, and playing picnic with another student." They also said he quickly struck up a friendship with another student and they had a lot of fun at recess and in the classroom!! <--That is just so excellent. He did great, some of the same issues obviously, but the growth is noticeable and I'm so happy for him.

Annalise has been sick and Owen has been THREE. LOL.

Just the same things with me...

My Eldest

Today when I went to the bus stop to pick him up I saw in the bus window that he was leaning over the steering wheel, at the same time I noticed that the bus door kept opening and closing. :) Apparently he had asked the bus driver how she opened the door, so she showed him and let him try.

He was so excited!! He's told many people about it already. :)

And yet again Annalise has sensed that I am blogging and is up from her nap.

I love music!!

I don't know about you all, but I love music; almost all kinds of music. My taste in music varies based on my mood. During the last few weeks I have attempted to understand my moods by reviewing my music choices. So for fun I thought I'd write down some of what I've been listening to the most in the last couple weeks here, since I hardly ever write anything here anyway, may as well put it to some use. :)

Eminem (encore/the eminem show/the Marshall Mathers LP)
Peter, Paul, and Mary (various)
Elton John (greatest hits)
Janis Joplin (various)
Damien Rice (O and 9)
Jefferson Airplane (various)
Queen (greatest hits I and II)
Billy Joel (greatest hits I and II)
50 Cent (get rich or die tryin')

Interesting.

So, Annalise is crying now, which puts an end to this fabulous post about music. Perhaps I will write about something interesting next time.

Babies!!!

These are my babies...

Actually they are my niece and nephew, but that's as good as mine, right??

They are currently taking up residence in my sister's uterus, but sometime in the months of November or December they will be making their grand appearance!! From that point on I believe I shall attempt to acquire one to keep at my house. :)

We'll see how that goes, but I'll let you know along the way.

Love ya babies!!!
